WHO ARE WE ?

Established in November 2002 by Luis Fernando Neila, Spectrum Electronica is an Independent Sales, Marketing & Operations (I.S.M.O) company representing manufacturers of advanced semiconductors and electronic component technology in the Iberian countries.We are part of the Spectrum Group.

Spectrum Electronica provides its manufacturing partners with a comprehensive and highly professional sales and marketing infrastructure, complemented by all the skills necessary to fully develop and support direct customers and maximise sales via the manufacturer's distribution channels.

In common with every Spectrum I.S.M.O operation, Spectrum Electronica represents only manufacturers of advanced technology, focused on emerging and high growth markets. Our product portfolio is synergistic, complementary and strictly non competing.

We purposely limit our representation to a handful of top quality manufacturers in order to maintain a greater depth of knowledge for the products they produce and to provide the focus and dedication the market
requires.

WHAT IS AN ISMO ?

In contrast to the conventional REP (Manufacturer Representative) model, Spectrum Electronica is an Independent Sales, Marketing & Operations (I.S.M.O.) organisation that extends and enhances almost every aspect of the manufacturer's business in the local territory. An I.S.M.O. is absolutely loyal to the manufacturers it represents and can only succeed in total partnership with them.

As an I.S.M.O., Spectrum Electronica does not carry inventory: Our role is to create the market and the demand on behalf of the manufacturers we represent, irrespective of the final channel of supply. Inventory is located at manufacturers' facilities and/or at the warehouses of their franchised distributors

Sales: First and foremost, Spectrum Electronica acts as the manufacturer's local sales office if the manufacturer has no direct presence in the territory. We maintain direct day-to-day contact with the key decision maker at the factory. When there is a local manufacturer's office, Spectrum Electronica acts as an extension of the direct sales force. Spectrum Electronica personnel receive the same entry point-, and ongoing-training as the manufacturer's direct sales people.
Marketing: We have the skills and experience to develop or enhance the marketing and demand creation activities of the manufacture's we represent.
Where required we are often able to negate the requirement for a manufacturer to appoint a marketing consultancy or Ad/PR agency in the territories we cover.

Operations:Our skills, experience and business acumen means that we are able to bring added value to almost every aspect of our manufacturer's business.We establish direct high-speed communications with manufacturer's I.T. systems and we pride ourselves on our ability to establish and maintain relationships with the manufacturer's key people at every level - product development, application engineering, sales & marketing, commercial and corporate.
