Airgain has introduced a low-cost dual band, board mounted antenna optimized  for 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi systems covering the 2.40 to 2.49 GHz and 4.9 to 5.9 GHz frequency bands.

Furthering its ambitions to improve wireless connectivity in next-generation wireless gateways, routers and media systems, smart antenna innovator Airgain has introduced a dual band, board mounted antenna designed for embedded applications requiring integration flexibility and low cost.

Adding to the popular Profile family of low profile embedded antennas, the Profile30D single band antenna is optimized for 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi systems covering the 2.40 to 2.49 GHz and 4.9 to 5.9 GHz frequency bands.  It offers peak gains of 4dBi at 2.4GHz and 6dBi across the 5GHz frequency band. Its unique PCB mount design of the Profile30D eliminates the need and cost of cables without sacrificing performance, making it ideal for applications in next-generation dual band routers and gateway devices.
